Family-Friendly Easter Activities to Welcome Spring

Easter is generally a busy time for families. Between early morning church services and family functions afterwards, most of us begin by praying for enough energy to make it through the day. If you’re having trouble filling up your Easter Sunday with activities, here are 10 ideas for you and your family to share some quality time together.spring easter activities fun

  1. Pipsqueak Peeps

This is a fun craft for kids of all ages. Transform boring plastic eggs with googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pom poms and a little glue to make little bunnies.

  1. Printable rabbit doll

If you have a bunny lover in the family, print out a doll here, cut them out and transfer onto cardstock paper. Be sure to cut the tabs out to attach the bunny’s ensemble to the doll.

  1. Melted crayons of color

If you have a pile of broken crayons, use them to color some hardboiled eggs with your kids. First, shred them with a cheese grater. Once your eggs have cooled, sprinkle them on and watch the colors melt on.

  1. Easter cupcakes

Kids love two things: sugar and sugar. Cupcakes give them healthy doses of both. You can choose all the bright colored icing you want. Here are some colorful cupcake toppers which you can glue to Popsicle or lollipop sticks and decorate the cupcakes with.

  1. Spring chicks

Create these little creatures with many of the same materials as the Peeps. If you’re really feeling crafty, use real eggshells. Some suggest making a grass forest with shredded paper to make the chicks feel more at home.

  1. Candlelight dinner

This is done in many families after a traditional Easter mass or church service, but any family from any religion can participate! Any excuse to gather around the table with your family and other loved ones is good in our book

  1. Make egg-centric stuffers

If you’re planning an egg hunt or two this year, be sure to put more than chocolate and money in the eggs. Give kids fun trinkets or goodies! A fun idea is filling the eggs with puzzle pieces, ending the day with an engaging family activity.

  1. Easter egg race

Decide whether you want raw or hardboiled eggs first. If you have very young rug-rats, we suggest cooked. Then, have two competitors face off, carrying each egg by a spoon held in their mouth.

  1. Easter egg toss

Just like the race, deciding whether or not to use raw eggs comes first. Have two teams line up across from one another and toss the eggs back and forth. The first team to break their egg loses.

Hey, Chip! Following Chip Through Service Uniform

Hey there! Chip here. Today, I want to take some time to further explain Service Uniform’s Blue Chip System®. As your Chief Chip Coordinator, it’s my job to make sure all of Service Uniform’s® customers fully understand the wealth of benefits our company offers their business.blue chip uniform tracking

First: Did you know that the Blue Chip System® guarantees your order will be 100% accurate? That’s right. Our RFID technology identifies every garment during all processes from cleaning to delivery. On top of that, we’ve hired some talented people as Garment Inspectors to ensure that our customers get the best garments we have to offer every time. Knowing that you depend on us to be at our best, our Blue Chip System® has a built-in Double-Check process which makes sure your order is accurate before it ever leaves our doors.

Sure, you may find another uniform service company that claims their barcode system can achieve the same results. But, consider this: barcodes fade and wrinkle over time from repeated washing and drying. How can they keep track of a garment they can’t scan? Our RFID technology makes sure that all of our inventory is accounted for. This ensures we hit our 100% accuracy guarantee every time.

Another benefit of our Blue Chip System® is the added confidence you’ll feel as a business owner knowing that you won’t have to worry about your uniform services. You may not notice it right off the bat, but your customers surely will. Having one less stressor will ultimately affect your customer service, and who doesn’t want to be better at that?

Better customer service is a key component of branding. Don’t believe me? Consider this: your brand is the expectation that a customer has upon hearing your company name or seeing your logo. Therefore, your customer service will affect how those expectations are perceived. Essentially, your brand and customer service are the same thing. Customer service is an effective, and relatively cheap, way to build a solid brand.

At Service Uniform®, we are committed to building strong relationships with our customers. As one of the top uniform rental companies in Colorado, we know how important these relationships are.  If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact my office and speak to one of our friendly account managers today!
