Vintage Nurse
This uniform dates back to either the 1930s or the 1950s. The long, fluffy skirt mirrors the fashion trends for that time. Women wore long skirts to cover their legs and the shape of the skirt was meant to make the waist look thinner. Oh, and don’t forget about the puffy sleeves! Shoulder pads and full sleeves were meant to give the illusion of broad shoulders. They were really popular for petite women or those with sloping shoulders.

Airline Flight Attendant
Worn somewhere between 1930 and 1932, this uniform was worn with a cape that went down to the back of attendant’s legs. Made of wool and synthetic fabric, this uniform was very heavy and not very popular among employees. Could you image wearing this uniform on a hot, summer day? And how many customers do you think got a bit cape in their face?

Some things just never go out of style. These vintage coveralls are not very different from what we wear today. These coveralls were popular for the “cigarette” pocket on the front. Styles today are similar, but without the fancy stripes.
